
Background
On Saturday, June 1st, at 2:00 PM, the first National Finals of the “Egg Party” College Tournament officially kicked off at the Hangzhou Esports Center, delivering an intense and exciting competition experience.
The event was live-streamed simultaneously on five major platforms:
CC Live, Bilibili, Douyin, Kuaishou, and Xiaohongshu, reaching a large online audience.
As the first professional esports venue in China built to Asian Games standards, the Hangzhou Esports Center covers 12,838 square meters, with a total construction area of approximately 80,000 square meters and a seating capacity of about 5,000 people. The venue has hosted numerous major esports events, including the “100 Days Countdown to the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2023” event.

Challenge
For a national-level esports final, the organizers required a video capture solution that could:

Traditional camera setups often rely on SDI cabling and additional converters, making deployment around player areas more complex and less flexible.

Solution
After comprehensive comparison and repeated testing, the organizers selected the ZowieTek 4K POV NDI Camera (AF model) as the POV capture solution for the tournament.
