In local AV environments, users often need to receive live RTMP streams from devices such as OBS, DJI drones, vMix, or GoPro and display them via HDMI.
Using an external RTMP server adds unnecessary complexity, especially in closed local networks.
With firmware version 1.0.2.25 and later, ZowieBox supports a built-in RTMP Server function, enabling direct RTMP streaming, decoding, and HDMI output within the same LAN.

1. Built-in RTMP Server for Local Streaming
After upgrading to firmware 1.0.2.25 or later and restoring factory settings, ZowieBox can generate a local RTMP streaming address in Decoding Mode.
Streaming devices push RTMP streams directly to ZowieBox without the need for an external RTMP server.
Only one device can push a stream at a time.
2. Direct RTMP-to-HDMI Decoding
Once streaming starts, ZowieBox decodes the incoming RTMP stream and outputs it via HDMI for real-time viewing.
Users can also copy the RTMP pull URL and play the stream in software such as VLC.
3. Simple Integration with Common Streaming Sources
The RTMP server supports standard RTMP streams pushed from devices and software including:
• OBS
• vMix
• DJI drones
• GoPro
Users only need to paste the RTMP push URL and start streaming.
4. LAN-Based Operation for Stable Performance
The RTMP server function operates within a local area network.
All devices must be on the same LAN; the RTMP server will not be available across different networks.
